Today I turned 25.

I wanted to remember what I looked like. On my birthday.

So I took a picture.

I'm terrible at including myself in pictures. But I want my children to be able to see what I looked like as a young mother. I want them to be able to put a face with a story when I tell them about themselves as babies and toddlers...when I tell them how I cuddled them, and read them books, and played in forts, and gave airplane rides.

Today was a good day.

I got together with friends and we made felt dolls for our daughters.

I played with my kids and waited for Seth to come home.

We ordered food from a restaurant and ate at our own table.

I bought Christmas music and ate chocolate cake.

Party on Friday.
