uppity date

I got called out by my sis-in-law Bec for lack of postage so here I am with an update.

But real quick question first...how do you all stay motivated and/or remember to take pictures of everything? I always tell myself I will and bring my camera everywhere but always end up with no pictures. I'm horrible at it but I wish we documented things better that way. Any tips?

Back to the update
August has been a crazy busy month, and was spent almost entirely away from Yakima.

Seth works in Seattle sometimes now too so he was gone at the beginning of the month for a few days leading up to another vacation so me and the kids headed to P-Diddle early. The whole occasional single parent thing is not my favorite. I need to insert here that up until this last week I've still been woken up every 1-2 hours a night by Mr. T and have been so beyond sleep deprived I wanted to kill something. Pity this fool for not letting him cry it out sooner! Anyway the reason I tell you this is the last 7 months have been a total blur and I just do not remember things like a normal person. So I know we've done lots of fun stuff but I'll probably forget to write about a bunch of them and we'll just sound boring. But we're soooo not.

New paragraph. Anyone else struggle with large paragraphs? Moving on...Seth worked Mon-Wed in Seattle and then spent the night in Pendleton and then was off for a week long hike with his brother and uncles. Word on the street is they had a great time while also having a terrible terrible time. Seth came back from the mountains limping but smiling. Boys are weird. While he was gone we took advantage of a Grammy that only has 2 grandchildren to spoil and the Aquatic Center. I was determined to get a tan this year since I haven't acquired one the last few summers and I've been a little bummed about that. Luckily I tan almost instantly and it only took me two times pool side to get nicely browned. Ya Ya was super lucky and got to go almost every day.

"How can you read this, there's no pictures?"
Am I right?
And don't be jealous that I can quote Disney movies on command. Like the entire movie.

Where were we again?
Next came Mister's 6 months check up.
16 lbs 10 oz/ 28 inches
5-15% for weight, 90% for height
We grow them tall and skinny.

Here's a couple of pictures of me and my firstborn son.

I'm going to be annoying and talk about how UN-photogenic I am. I shouldn't care but I do.
Here's another one, I was determined to have a better one of me at the expense of my small child...
Somewhere in there we went to the park.
B had a good time going down slides,

And throwing rocks in the creek

How 'bout that follow through, eh?

Taylor was a good boy and was content to sit in his stroller and put things in his mouth.

We're gonna have to wrap it up here for the night. I had more written but I couldn't find the pictures to go along with it and my baby is sleeping which makes me a cotton-headed-ninny-muggin if I don't go do the same! Stay tuned for more of our summer :)

So you're saying he's sleeping through the night now?! Yay! I'm struggling with naps. I've starting letting him cry it out during the day, it's like some sort of torture for both of us. We're coming home this weekend, will I see you there?
