#3

I guess I should make it blog official that we are expecting baby #3!

We found out a little before Christmas another little was on the way.
A couple funny stories about this pregnancy-

We were wanting to get pregnant and I started having a bunch of symptoms that I tried to ignore because I didn't even think I could be pregnant at that particular time. But there were about 4 symptoms that were consistent and that I historically have only had when I have been pregnant. So, I convinced myself I WAS pregnant and kept bugging Seth to bring me home tests. I think I even bought a couple just because I love taking them. They all kept coming back negative. When I was sure it would be far enough in the game to show a positive sign if I was, I had Seth bring home 2 more. I tried one at night and it was negative. The next morning I couldn't help myself and did the last one. Seth said for sure it should show up by this point so if it was negative then that was that. Well it was negative. I was so confused and a little sad and got in the shower. Seth came in and asked if I took it and I said yes but it was negative. He pulled it out of the trash and said "Uhhh there are 2 lines there!" Haha I have never had a delayed result but I was indeed pregnant.

With Brooklyn I called and set up an appointment the minute I saw the positive sign. I had to wait seriously over a month until I was 8 weeks along, which is usually the earliest they see you unless something goes wrong. With Taylor I was a little more laid back and went in at 12 weeks. This time around I planned on going in about that same time. I don't know what happened but it started getting later and later and I still hadn't made an appointment or done anything to find a doctor. Finally got around to setting something up at about 14 weeks. Or so I thought. I redid the due date calculator the night before my appointment and it said I could be as far as 16 weeks along, which shocked me. I thought I could be 15 tops at the end of the week. So I go in and get set up and a have bunch of tests done and he puts in my last period date and it shows up on the computer as 17 weeks. WHAT?! So then he's like well we were going to do an initial ultrasound to hear the heart beat etc and measure but you'll be going in within the next couple weeks for the big ultrasound apparently! He ended up doing an ultrasound at no cost so he could practice and some measurements said as far along as 17 weeks 5 days.  That kind of freaked me out. But not gonna lie, it is awesome to be that much closer to the end than I was expecting! So this week I will be 20 weeks and should have the gender/comprehensive ultrasound asap. I think it's a girl, even though I've been really sick like I was with my boy. We shall see!

Here I am at 18 weeks. Not showing basically at all. I'm pretty much half way through and still not showing! I have a little bloated looking gut but I don't think anyone would guess I was pregnant. But I'm feeling the baby move more and more which is so comforting and exciting!
