Hiss! You're never around when I need you.

I've been robbed.

And since I'm trying to be less dramatic about things I'm going to post about it on here instead of Facebook. Aren't I so mature?

I was at the grocery store with the 2 kiddos, checking out. Spent less than I was planning on...woo hoo! They each had a special snack they were excited about and holding on to. Swipe my debit card, doesn't work. Swipe again. Nope. Try it as a credit card even though I know that won't work...it doesn't.  Pull the cart over and look up my bank account on my phone. Yep, plenty of money in there! Try again. Nada. Go try the ATM machine. Twice. Surprise! Card doesn't work. Walk of shame back to the cashier who tells me to go leave my cart full of groceries at customer service. Pry the treats from my kids' hands and carry them BOTH out, completely mortified.

I know there are far worse things that can happen to a person but I just got in the car and bawled! I'm pathetic.

Even though I hate hate hate calling people I decided I would put my big girl panties on and call the bank to see what the problem was. They connected me to the security department and turns out someone was trying to charge hundreds of dollars with my card somewhere in Colorado. Um WHAT?! Thanks goodness they were on top of that. The charges weren't approved. Well all but $2.72 which the bank is reimbursing me. They are going to get rid of my old number and send me a new debit card/number in the mail. I'm feeling much much better now!

Although I would love to punch those good for nothing scammers in the face.
Idiots.

Ugh, I hate when stuff like that happens! I would have also went to my car and cried so you're not alone there! :) Hopefully it all gets worked out, that's not fun.

Not sure how I missed this post or the last one. must be private stuff not telling me. Ahhhhh. how lame. I'm so sorry. That is totally the worst feeling ever. "Um, I promise we have money checker lady." I swear that's happened to me before. Ugh! But totally glad the bank was all over that. Gosh! Oh and you are sooooo cute prego. You totally know how to dress the bump! So excited to see you when we drive through in June. :)

Um we should be friends here in Boise. But I'm really really terrible at actually being friends and doing stuff, so just know that I want to be. And it will miraulously happen one day! OUr girls would like eachother!

SO, I just read this post and this SAME DANG THANG happened to me. I was MORTIFIED. But guess what I think mine was worse because the lady behind me INSISTED on paying for my groceries and even as I tried to leave, the register lady just swiped her card and paid for my groceries. I thought it might be really snotty to just walk out at that point and say NO! So i had to take my groceries and I don't know why but yes I bawled too. Aaaah bad memory. But I guess that lady was nice. I don't know why I'm so mad at her for being nice.... haha. Glad to spread the grocery store moritfication with someone. And congrats on baby #3! Wow! 3 is sooo many kids. Your crazy. :)
